Zusammen:Österreich [Together:Austria]

The Austrian Integration Fund wants to support migrants to establish their own businesses and, together with entrepreneur Aleksandra Izdebska, they have launched the support programme TOGETHER: AUSTRIA Founders. The start-up programme is intended for migrants who want to set-up a business to support their long-term integration in Austria.

As part of this programme, over two years, participants receive intensive mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs, support through a bespoke modular training programme and access to a group of like-minded people to develop their business idea. In addition, there are coaching and workshops, a buddy system, panel discussions and discussions with entrepreneurs as well as company visits, network meetings and, if necessary, internships.

In order to participate, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:

  • Business idea to be implemented in Austria.
  • Flight or migration background and at least 18 years old
  • German language skills at least at B1 level
  • Residence permit in Austria
